Hello to Sunbury Primary School!
February 17th, 2012 ยท 1 Comment »
I heard a whisper that one of the Grade 3 classes at Sunbury Primary School have been reading Samuel’s Kisses and talking about authors recently. I just wanted to say hello and thank you for reading my book. I hope to get some questions from you very soon. You can email me at karen@karencollum.com.au.
Enjoy learning about authors!
P.S. Maybe I can come and visit your classroom one day soon. :)
Hi Karen,
Two litle birdies told us that you are holidaying in America. We hope you are having a great time. We think about you often. We have been going from ‘good’ writers to ‘GREAT’ writers. We have been making our writing even better by revising and revising and revising!! We have been using our plans to organise our thoughts. We have been acting out scenes from our writing to help us choose the best words to show what we mean. We took your advice and use verbs alot in our writing. Mrs Katsikapis brought in some shoes and we put them on as we read a book, to feel what it was like to walk in the characters shoes. It was fun. We miss you and would love to hear how you are going with your new books.
Love 3 / 4 K
